Entrepreneurs from Moldova to be able to get financing for green business

Chisinau, 13 June /MOLDPRES/ - A programme on backing ecological ideas titled, ClimateLaunchpad, has opened its applications for Moldova this June. Thus, Moldova, along with another 50 states, was admitted to the 2019 issue of the biggest contest of green business ideas in the world, in order to remedy the climate changes.
ClimateLaunchpad is thought to help entrepreneurs to develop their ecological ideas in global businesses. Innovations in terms of renewable energy, energy efficiency, nourishment and agriculture, water, transport, industrial technology or any other way of fighting climate changes are welcome. Anyone is welcome to apply, beginning with pupils to startup owners, if they have an idea which combines business with ecology.
In all participating countries, the applicants selected start their training through a two-day intensive Business Camp, within which an international trainer help them improve and develop the business idea. The camp is followed by a string of sessions, with the competition’s national final due to follow in next September, where the business plans will be presented. The best two teams in each country will compete at the Global Final due in Amsterdam in November 2019.
The best ten ideas will get access to a regional business-accelerator, the value of which is of 105,000 euros. At the same time, the winner will receive a prize worth 10,000 euros, the holder of the second position will get 5,000 euros and the team due to rank third will earn 2,500 euros.
The registration, which implies a short description of the innovating idea, will be made till 29 June 2019, by filling in the form available at: https://climatelaunchpad.org/application-form/. The participation is for free and the entire programme is carried out in the English language.
