About 60 private sector employees demand compensations within First Home programme in Moldova

Chisinau, 13 June /MOLDPRES/ – A number of 59 beneficiaries of the state Programme First Home (PSPC), being private sector employees, have requested compensation from the state budget (BS) for the mortgage loan payment.

The Ministry of Finance (MF) has announced that there are 47 applications which are being currently under review, and another 12 have already been validated. If the applications are approved for funding, the applicants will receive compensation commencing July 2019.

According to the Regulation's provisions, the formula for calculating the compensation results from the maximum cost of a dwelling of MDL 600,000, with the gradual compensation of up to 50 per cent of the base amount of mortgage, but not over 10 per cent to 15 per cent of calculated mortgage applicant for 25 years.

The registered applications for biennial compensation can be downloaded online throughout the electronic register available on the official website www.primacasa.gov.md.

According to data of the early of this week, there have been granted 2,429 mortgage loans under PSPC.
