U.S. dollar appreciates against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 13 June /MOLDPRES/ – The U.S. dollar (USD) appreciates against the Moldovan leu (MDL) at weekend, according to the official exchange rates of the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, in upcoming days, the value of USD consists MDL 18.18 for $1, by MDL 0.06 more than on 13 June.

Also, the cost of MDL preserves its position against the European single currency (EUR), similar to the cost on 13 June – MDL 20.52 for €1.

The value of the Romanian leu (RON) remains unchanged – MDL 04.34. The BNM has set the similar official exchange rates like today for the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble (RUB): UAH – MDL 0.68, and RUB – MDL 0.28.
