About 500 booths evacuated from Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 14 June /MOLDPRES/- About 500 booths have been evacuated from the capital in the last year. Acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu made the statement today.

At the same time, authorities have also evacuated 155 unauthorized metal garages. "Booths and garages are two of the city's visual pollution sources. In an interim year, we managed to evacuate 155 unauthorized metal garages from the yards and 473 booths on the main thoroughfares. It's a good result, but we're not stopping here, "Codreanu said.

In early March, Codreanu signed an order according to which sector praetor’s offices were to carry out inventory of metallic / capital garages located on the public land in Chisinau. Unauthorized construction is to be evacuated by late July. Under the same order, a register of metallic garages will be established in Chisinau.
