Moldova's minister of defence presented to national army command body

Chisinau, 15 June /MOLDPRES/ – The President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, has presented the Minister of Defence, Pavel Voicu, on Saturday, 15 June, to the command body of the National Army.
Igor Dodon has said that it begins a new development phase for the Ministry of Defence (MA) today. "The minister has an experience, I think he will meet the suggested demands. I ordered to have discussions with all chiefs in the territory so as to analise the situation in the army," said the head of state.
The invested Minister of Defence, Pavel Voicu, has said he is going to analise the situation in MA, implemented reforms and existing projects.
Pavel Voicu graduated from the Academy of MAI Stefan cel Mare and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Moldova. In 2017, Voicu was appointed as adviser to the President of Moldova for special missions. Since 1995 he has worked in various positions within the Ungheni Police Inspectorate, Centre for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption, National Anticorruption Centre. He held the position of Commissioner of the district police department in Calarasi and Cimislia, head of the police inspectorate of sector Buiucani, Chisinau municipality and head of the Bender Police Inspectorate.
