KFOR-10 soldiers awarded by Moldovan defense minister

Chisinau, 17 June /MOLDPRES/- The 41 soldiers of KFOR-10 National Army have completed their mission and returned home. On 17 June they were awarded diplomas and National Army distinctions by Defense Minister Pavel Voicu.

The event was held at the Defense Ministry. Attending the ceremony, newly appointed Defense Minister praised the performance of 41 soldiers over six months in the KFOR operation, and noted that by the way they performed the tasks, they demonstrated that the National Army has well-trained officers and non-commissioned officers.

The KFOR-10 contingent, which was in Kosovo in December 2018 - June 2019, was made up of 41 professional soldiers, including a senior state officer, seven sappers and a platoon of 33 soldiers. They performed security, patrol and engineering missions.
