Moldovan PM informs about creation of bureau for anticorruption policies, justice reform

Chisinau, 17 June /MOLDPRES/ – In addition to the Cabinet of Moldovan Prime Minister, it will function a bureau anticorruption policies and justice reform (BPARJ). The announcement has been made by PM Maia Sandu today.
Within new office, there will work the national and international experts. "It is a board of PM from whom we are looking for advice on how we can speed up judicial reforms and reforms to build strong and professional institutions against corruption," said the official.
Maia Sandu has said the new Cabinet of Ministers (CM) is committed to working only in the interests of citizens, ensure decisional transparency and promote competent and professional persons.
"Today, together with new ministers, we have discussed with teams in all ministries. The message I have sent and which I want to be heard by all officials and citizens is that the new Government will eliminate the old practices of illegal enrichment throughout corruption schemes, appointment based upon loyalty to party, ignoring public interest. I guarantee that good people will be promoted and appreciated," said Maia Sandu.
The PM has also said that "no one should be evaluated, promoted, downgraded or threatened due to political option." Also, those who have made political partisanship will be sanctioned, and those who will continue to partisan politically will be dismissed, said Sandu.
The Premier has announced that this week she will send a letter to Kroll and ask for a copy of report Kroll 02 "so as to find out details about investigation of the theft of billion, the ones involved and destination of money."
The new CM, headed by Maia Sandu, took office on 08 June 2019.
