Moldovan interior minister introduced to ministry staff

Chisinau, 17 June /MOLDPRES/- Newly-appointed Minister of Internal Affairs Andrei Nastase was introduced today by Prime Minister Maia Sandu to the employees of the Interior Ministry.
The premier delivered a speech to the police and assed that from now on they would no longer be put into uncertainty.
"We will take care not to be in a situation where you have to choose between serving citizens or some obscure people," the Prime Minister said.
The newly appointed interior minister said that the MAI's politicization ceased today. He told employees not to obey political orders and assured that the institution would go the next period through several transformations to become an open and credible one.
Andrei Nastase was born on 6 August 1975 in Mandreşti village, Teleneşti district. He is a lawyer, founder member and leader of the Dignity and Truth Platform, head and founding member of the Dignity and Truth Platform Party.
The Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Maia Sandu was sworn in on 8 June.
