Euro depreciates, U.S. dollar appreciates against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 17 June /MOLDPRES/ – The European single currency (EUR) depreciates on Tuesday, 18 June, by MDL 0.06 and U.S. dollar (USD) appreciates by MDL 0.01 against the Moldovan leu (MDL), according to the official exchange rates of the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

As a result, the value of EUR is MDL 20.41 for €1, and the cost of USD is MDL 18.19 for $1.

Also, the Romanian leu (RON) cheapens by MDL 0.02 on 18 June, down to the level of MDL 04.31.

The BNM has set the similar values of today for the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble (RUB): UAH – MDL 0.68, and RUB – MDL 0.28.
