Parliament has to establish date of general local elections in Moldova

Chisinau, 17 June /MOLDPRES/ – The Parliament meets on Tuesday, 18 June, and it has to considers a draft decision on the date of general local elections (ALG).

According to the standing bureau of Parliament's (BPP) decision of Monday, the Legislature will also discuss the draft decision on establishment of "Investigation committees for analysis of the mode of organisation and conduct of privatisation of public property, commencing 2013".

Similarly, the MPs will examine the draft decision on establishment of an "Investigation Commission to elucidate the factual and legal circumstances concerning the unconstitutional coup attempt of the Democrats' party (PDM) achieved throughout the Constitutional Court (CC) and General Prosecutor's Office (PG)".

Also on agenda, there are amendments to the Law on the State Protection and Guard Service regarding amendment of Article 20 of Electoral Code (CE) in the second reading, as well as modification of draft decisions on establishment of the standing committees of Parliament and their composition number.
