Moldovan interior minister files complaint to General Prosecutor's Office

Chisinau, 18 June /MOLDPRES/- Interior Minister Andrei Nastase filed a complaint to the General Prosecutor's Office asking for temporary suspension of the Constitutional Court judges and lifting the parliamentary immunity of PDM leader Vlad Plahotniuc.

In the complaint Nastase called for the investigation of the entire panel of judges from the court for attempted usurpation of state power.

According to Nastase, the Constitutional Court judges actions have led to the establishment of a dualism of power and, therefore a "crisis that affected and extrapolated the whole society."

He asked emergency procedures for lifting the immunity of MP Vlad Plahotniuc and get the consent of the legislature for criminal investigation.
