Eleven parliamentary commissions to work in Moldova's legislative body

Chisinau, 18 June /MOLDPRES/ - Eleven standing parliamentary commissions will work in the parliament of the tenth legislative period. The MPs today approved the number and nominal composition of these commissions.  

Thus, the following commissions will work in the parliament: the juridical  commission for rules and immunities; commission for economy, budget and finances; commission for national security, defence and public order; commission for foreign policy and European integration; commission for human rights and inter-ethnic relations; commission for public administration; commission for environment and regional development; commission for culture, education, research, youth, sport and mass media; commission for agriculture and food industry; commission for social protection, health and family; commission for control of public money.    

An MP of the ACUM bloc, Sergiu Litvinenco, was nominated head of the juridical commission for rules and immunities. The commission for economy, budget and finances will be led by a lawmaker of the ACUM bloc, Igor Munteanu. Chiril Motpan on behalf of the ACUM bloc will lead the commission for national security, defence and public order. The commission for foreign policy and European integration will be led by Iurie Renita, ACUM bloc.    

Andrian Lebedinschi on behalf of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) was appointed head of the commission for culture, education, research, youth, sport and mass media. A PSRM lawmaker, Radu Mudreac, will lead the commission for agriculture and food industry and Vladimir Golovatiuc (PSRM) will be the head of the commission for control of public money.  

The commission for environment and regional development will be led by an MP of the Democratic Party (PDM), Violeta Ivanov, commission for public administration – by PDM lawmaker Vasile Bitca and Democrat MP Elena Bacalu will be the head of the commission for social protection, health and family.    

The faction of the Shor Party is to put up the candidacy for the position of head of the commission for human rights and interethnic relations. The parliament’s plenum approved the candidacy of Marina Tauber for this office.
