Monica Babuc elected deputy parliament speaker in Moldova

Chisinau, 18 June /MOLDPRES/ - An MP of the Moldovan Democratic Party (PDM), Monica Babuc, the former education, culture and research minister, was elected by the parliament to the office of deputy parliament speaker today. The Democrat lawmaker was put forward to this position by PDM.
Under the decision of the parliamentary majority, four deputy speakers will work in the new parliament. According to the MPs’ decision, the rest of the three offices of deputy speaker went to Ion Ceban on behalf of the Party of Socialists , Alexandru Slusari of the Dignity and Truth Platform Party and Mihail Popsoi of the Action and Solidarity Party.
