Moldovan electoral commission accredits more international observers to monitor elections of Gagauz autonomy's governor

Chisinau, 18 June /MOLDPRES/ – The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has accredited on 18 June more international observers to monitor the elections of the Governor (Bashkan) of Gagauzia on 30 June.
According to CEC data, there have been accredited 37 international observers and 10 national observers so far to inspect the elections of the Gagauz Bashkan, from 07 diplomatic missions (MD) accredited in Moldova, 03 international organisations (OI) and 01 non – governmental organisation (NGO).
At similar meeting, the CEC has approved a number of amendments to the Regulation on financing the activity of political parties, approved by the Commission decision №4401 of 23 December 2015. Other CEC decisions referred the assignment of councilor mandates to the local councils of several localities.
