Moldovan deputy premier for reintegration meets U.S. Ambassador

Chisinau, 18 June /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister, Vasilii Sova, has met with U.S. Ambassador to Moldova, Dereck J. Hogan, on 18 June, during which there were discussed current patterns related to the Transnistrian issue and prospects of advancing the dialogue within negotiation process, the office for reintegration policy’s information and media communication service has reported.
The officials expressed the need to support mutually the process of consolidating the positions of international partners in the 5+2 format in relation to Moldova and in the context of the Transnistrian settlement.
The idea was to organise in the near future the working meetings at the level of political representatives from Chisinau and Tiraspol and the visit to Moldova of representatives of mediators and observers in the 5+2 negotiation format.
There have also been addressed some other relevant initiatives so as to boost the regulatory process.
The officials agreed on maintaining intense cooperation and developing interaction on a wide spectrum of issues of common interest.
