Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration discusses with head of OSCE Mission

Chisinau, 18 June /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister, Vasilii Sova, has met with the head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, Claus Neukirch, on 18 June, the office for reintegration policy’s information and media communication service has reported.
The discussions focused on existing situation and results in the work of sectoral working groups, mentioning the need to identify viable solutions to the most pressing issues, especially the ones on agenda of the working groups for telecommunications and postal services, and economy.
There were reflected some eventual new ideas that might be promoted and contribute to increasing the efficiency of the negotiation process mechanisms, including in the implementation of project initiatives, such as implementation with the support of international partners of the infrastructure project concerning the reconstruction of the national road M5 Chisinau – Tiraspol – border with Ukraine.
There was an exchange of views on sensitive issues, which address the matter of ensuring respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms in the Transnistrian region.
It was expressed gratitude to mediators and observers in the 5+2 negotiation format for giving greater interest to the Transnistrian file and willingness to activate targeted efforts to achieve exact results in the work of the permanent Conference on political issues in the Transnistrian settlement process.
