Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ – Director of the Public Property Agency (APP), Vladimir Baldovici, has been dismissed on 20 June, on the basis of a request filed by a Government decision. Earlier, PM Maia Sandu had said that the director of the APP would be dismissed based on the fact that in recent days the institution would have announced a tender for privatisation of state goods at a reduced price.
The PM has mentioned that "according to public info available on the website of APP on 14.06.2019, 18:47 (i.e. immediately after the press conference organised by the Democrats' party (PDM) at 17:30, announcing "withdrawal from governance"), it was made an announcement on the conduct of commercial contest for privatisation of several public property assets. Among these goods, there is, for instance, Moldavian sanatorium in Truskavets, Ukraine, with a price that seems significantly diminished compared to real price."
