Over 50,000 children to rest in camps of Moldova in summer

Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - More than 50,000 children and teenagers in summer will rest at those about 120 leisure camps due to work in Moldova.

More exactly, the children will rest at 77 day camps and 46 ones with steady-state regime, the head of the information service at the Education, Culture and Research Ministry, Angela Mutruc, has told MOLDPRES.

Under a decision earlier approved by the cabinet, the estimative cost for one day in the leisure camps financed from the state budget will vary between 165 and 251 lei. According to the document, the government will provide for free 25 per cent of all tickets distributed in the leisure camps to more categories of children and teenagers, among whom orphan children, from disadvantaged families, as well as from families with three and more children.

The leisure camps will act on the period June – August.
