Reconstruction works start at Alunelul park from Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - The works of reconstruction of the Alunelul Park from Chisinau’s Buiucani district started today. They will cost the city hall 4.6 million lei.
According to the Moldovan capital’s city hall, the first phase of the park’s reconstruction will last 60 days. At the same time, the alleys of the leisure zone, as well as the lanes for bicyclists will be arranged. Under the project, the main alleys will be paved and the other ones will be asphalted. Also, the entrance into the park will be renovated (and arranged in pavement), new kerbstones will be set and a belt will be arranged on all perimeter of the park’s, seen for people practicing sport and bicyclists.
The works for the setting of the new sanitary unit will begin next week. The first modern WC will be in the Alunelul Park, out of the eight ones, which the city hall is restoring in Chisinau this year.
The public and decorative illumination, as well as the urban furniture is to be set at the second phase of the works and in the end, the stage for concerts is scheduled to be arranged. A mini-football stadium is also to be set within the works of the park’s reconstruction.
The general acting mayor of Chisinau, Ruslan Codreanu, also attended the reconstruction works. He noted that the reconstruction of the Alunelul Park was a nice present for the residents of Chisinau’s Buiucani district, which marks the 55th anniversary in 2019.
