Moldovan leu to maintain exchange rate against main reference currencies in early next week

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ – At the beginning of upcoming week, the Moldovan leu (MDL) maintains its position against the main reference currencies, according to official exchange rates published on 21 June, by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, on 24 June, it cheapens only the U.S. dollar (USD), and the rest of the currencies maintain their rates of today.

Particularly, the single European currency (EUR) still holds the price of MDL 20.58 for €1, USD – MDL 18.20 for $1 on Monday. The Romanian leu (RON) preserves its quote of MDL 04.35. The same trend maintain the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble (RUB): UAH – MDL 0.69; RUB – MDL 0.28.
