Heads of inter-governmental commission for economic cooperation on behalf of Moldova, Russia meet in Chisinau

Chisinau, 24 June /MOLDPRES/ - A new meeting of the heads of the inter-governmental commission for economic, commercial, scientific and technical cooperation took place after a long break today. The Moldovan side was led by Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Vasilii Sova and the Russian side – by Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The officials expressed interest in fostering the works of the intergovernmental commission. The sides agreed to boost the communication between the secretaries of the commission, in order to prepare the holding of the next meeting during next September and consider the most important aspects of the economic and trade sector, which regards the Moldovan-Russian cooperation.
The officials stressed the mutual interest in ensuring the participation of Tiraspol’s participation in the single mechanism of discussing the commercial and economic ties between Moldova and Russia and identifying solutions to the most topical problems the entrepreneurs from the region are concerned about.
The officials repeatedly confirmed the fact of lack of certain limitings both in Russia and in Moldova, as to the officials and decision-makers from both states.
The open tackling and the one of reciprocal interest will serve as basic priorities in the work of the inter-governmental commission.
