A Doctor for You campaign ceased in Moldova

Chisinau, 25 June /MOLDPRES/ - The campaign, A Doctor for You, has been ceased. Health, Labour and Social Protection Ala Nemerenco made statements to this effect today.

In a posting on her official page, the minister informed that the residents involved in the campaign had been returned to their former working places. “I took responsibility today to end the electoral caravan, which those who initiated it left it at the mercy of God; I returned the residents who assembled outside the ministry’s building to be sent to wander throughout the country to their jobs, apologizing to them and here we put an end to politics in medicine,” Nemerenco said.

The campaign, A Doctor for You, was launched in August 2018, at an initiative by the former prime minister, Pavel Filip. Statistics shows that about 40,000 people have received consultations within this campaign since early 2019.
