Supreme Security Council holds meeting today

Chisinau, 26 June /MOLDPRES/- Supreme Security Council members today held a meeting. At the end, the CSS members asked state structures for information on electricity supply contracts, the construction of Arena Chişinau, the smuggling schemes at the Airport and the acquisitions made lately by several state-owned enterprises.

At the end of the meeting, President Igor Dodon made press statements stating that within 10 days, the competent state institutions will come up with reports on several issues including the sale of assets from Union Fenosa company, the power supply contracts from the Cuciurgan Power Plant. "Also, CSS members have asked the General Prosecutor's Office and the National Anti-Corruption Center to investigate the smuggling schemes that are being discussed lately in public space. Information was also requested about the construction of Arena Chişinau and legality of this process and program for getting citizenship through investments," Dodon said.

The president said he holds information that many state-owned enterprises in the last days make purchases of millions of lei and some directors take long holidays.
