Moldovan premier to pay official visits to Bucharest, Brussels

Chisinau, 26 June /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Maia Sandu will pay her first official visit to Bucharest, scheduled for 2 July. Subsequently, on 4 July, the PM will make a visit to Brussels.
The Moldovan cabinet announced the decision, after Maia Sandu had had a phone conversation with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis.
„I thanked President Iohannis for the constant support provided by Romania to the citizens of Moldova. We discussed the need to advance the joint projects between Romania and Moldova. President Iohannis assured us of his support and the one of Romania in the processes of our country’s European integration. I thank President Iohannis for the invitation to pay an official visit to Bucharest on 2 July. After the visit to Bucharest, I will be on an official visit to Brussels on 4 July,” Maia Sandu said.
The government led by Maia Sandu was sworn in office on 8 June 2019.
