Trainers for master's degree of Moldovan State University's history faculty to also receive diploma of Bucharest University at graduation

Chisinau, 27 June /MOLDPRES/ - The trainers for master’s degree of the History and Philosophy Faculty at Moldova’s State University (USM) will get two graduation diplomas. One of them will be released by the host University and another one – by the Bucharest University.     

This is stipulated in two cooperation agreements, recently signed by USM Rector Gheorghe Ciocanu and Rector of the Bucharest University (UB) Mircea Dumitru.    

The documents see that the students matriculated at both universities, at the History and Philosophy Faculty of USM and the History and Philosophy Faculties of UB, will benefit from programmes for training for master’s degree with double diploma: on behalf of the Moldovan State University and the Bucharest University. The object of these agreements represent the syllabi of training for master’s degree in History and movement of philosophical ideas and history, cultural resources and heritage in the contemporary society from the Bucharest University and the management of cultural heritage and contemporary philosophies from the Moldovan State University.  

Thus, the students will study three semesters at the host university and one semester at the partner university. The goal of these agreements is to educate specialists at the international level in the field of cultural heritage and philosophy through exchange of experience and practice both at the level of students and at the one of teaching staff.  

Each year, a maximal number of 14 students from each university will participate in these programmes. The matriculation will be made based on the admission contest held by candidates in both universities. The students will be provided with free of charge accommodation and equalizing of the courses selected.  

The finalization of the master programme with double diploma will be made through maintaining a dissertation/master thesis before a joint commission, according to the own methodologies established by each partner institution.
