Chisinau police department head resigns

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/- The head of the Chisinau Police Department, Corneliu Groza, has resigned. Interior Minister Andrei Nastase made the statement at a TV show.

"After a meeting I had at the Police Department, the head of the municipal Police Department resigned. He understood the message,” Nastase said.

Corneliu Groza was appointed head of the Chisinau Police Department in May 2016.
