Moldovan state budget's revenues up by 6.4 per cent in first five months of 2019

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/ - The state budget revenues amounted to 14.922 billion lei in the first five months of 2019, which is by 6.4 per cent more against the same period of the year before. The Finance Ministry presented the data today.
At the same time, the state budget expenses stood at 17.325 billion lei on the concerned period. The expenses are by 22.7 per cent higher against the same period of 2018. Thus, according to the Finance Ministry, the carrying out of the state budget in late last May ended with a deficit of 2.402 billion lei.
The revenues collected by the State Fiscal Service amount to 6.886 billion lei, which is by 4.3 per cent more against the same period of 2018. The revenues managed by the Customs Service grew by 7.7 per cent, amounting to 8.496 billion lei.
The revenues from taxes and duties are worth 14.124 billion lei of all the revenues, which is by 7.9 per cent more against the same period of the last year. The revenues from the income taxes stand at 2.971 billion lei, - up by 3.5 per cent against the same period of the previous year.
