Moldovan speaker meets Latvian foreign minister

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/- One of the key goals of the government is the law to work in Moldova for the benefit of people and be applied equally to everyone, Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii said at a today’s meeting with Edgars Rinkēvičs, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The sides discussed boosting bilateral and regional cooperation, including the parliamentary and economic dimension. Zinaida Greceanii reiterated that all the agreements concluded by the Republic of Moldova will be further observed.

At the same time, according to the speaker, a good law is only the beginning of reform, and this is fully aware of the current parliamentary majority.

Greceanii thanked Latvia for support during the crisis and openness to reforms started by Moldova, including the European Union platform.
