South Moldova entrepreneurs to benefit from counseling of Lithuanian experts

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/ - Possibilities of a deep and efficient cooperation between entrepreneurs from south Moldova and experts of Lithuania in the business sector were considered at a workshop held in the southern Cimislia town on 27 June.
Attending the event were representatives of the business environment and local authorities, business support organizations, representatives of research institutions and young entrepreneurs.
The Lithuanian experts informed about possibilities of cooperation, referring to the involvement of young people in businesses and rural development, up-to-date technologies in agriculture will 2030. In this respect, the specialists stressed the global tendencies, especially the innovations and digitization in industry, as well as instruments of support of business in Lithuania. At the same time, the experts mentioned the best practices and opportunities for companies from Moldova.
The workshop was welcome especially for young entrepreneurs, who showed willingness to cooperate with Lithuanian experts in order to extend their activities. According to a head of department at the Lithuanian Innovation Centre, Arturas Jakubavicius, his country has an efficient experience in the business promotion sector and he declared open for cooperation, support and guiding young people interested.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, a specialist in economy at the Causeni district council, Maria Cojocaru, who attended the event, said that the workshop’s agenda had been well-structured, being really useful for all those set to start a business. “The business has a lot of subtleties and if entrepreneurs have possibility to learn advantageous experiences, be guided by professional and competent experts, then their chances of success grow,” Maria Cojocaru said.
The Cimislia meeting, titled, Participation of young people in rural development. Possibilities of export within the project of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), fits into the Network of Technological Transfer of Moldova. The latter is partner in the project Enterprise Europe Network, along with the Lithuanian Innovation Centre and the South Regional Development Agency.
