Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/ – Three incomplete schools, which have less than 90 pupils from Gagauzia, will get money for their activity, according to a decision of its People's Assembly (AP).
There are only 03 pre – university education institutions in Gagauz autonomy which, according to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC), should be closed due to the fact that they do not have the necessary number of pupils. These are the secondary schools in Bugeac, Cotovscoe villages and secondary school – kindergarten in Ferapontievca.
"Because these schools do not get the funds from the state budget (BS) for further activity, a special regional commission decided that the authorities of autonomy should supplement the financing of secondary schools", says gagauzinfo.md.
Thus, according to a decision of AP of Gagauzia, the Bugeac school will receive MDL 738.8 thousand, the one from Cotovscoe – MDL 414.3 thousand and from Ferapontievca – MDL 990.5 thousand.
Earlier, when it had been announced the education system's reform, the administration of Comrat announced that no education institution in Gagauzia would be closed.
