Composition of Moldova's Commission for Awarding National Prize changed

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - The composition of the Commission for Awarding the National Prize has been changed. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting today.
The commission is made up of Prime Minister Maia Sandu, Education, Culture and Research Minister Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, the government’s secretary general, Roman Cazan, Economics and Infrastructure Minister Vadim Branzan, Health, Labour and Social Protection Minister Ala Nemerenco, President of Moldova’s Academy of Sciences Ion Tighineanu, the head of the National Olympic and Sports Committee, Nicolae Juravschi, the head of the non-governmental organization GENDERCENTRU, Valentina Bodrug-Lungu, Rector of the Moldovan Technical University Viorel Bostan, academician Stanislav Groppa, head of the Moldovan Writers Union, Arcadie Suceveanu, the artistic director of the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre, Alexandru Cozub, PhD, university professor Otilia Dandara, the director general of the OWH Studio, Virgiliu Margineanu and PhD, university professor Sergiu Musteata.
Thus, unlike the composition of the previous commission, made up of 13 members, of whom six representatives of the central public authorities, the composition suggested includes 15 members.
