Announcement on conduct of contest for selection of candidates for position of judge of constitutional court on behalf of Moldovan government

Chisinau, 02 July /MOLDPRES/ – The Government of Moldova is launching the contest for selection of two candidates for position of Judge of the Constitutional Court (CC) on behalf of Government. The candidate for CC's judge must meet the following requirements, as to:

a) hold the citizenship of Moldova;

b) be domiciled in Moldova;

c) have higher legal training;

d) have high professional competence;

e) be at least 15 years of age in legal activity, in higher legal education or in scientific activity;

f) have not reached the age of 70;

g) have no prohibition to hold public office or public dignity;

h) have a perfect reputation.

On 02 – 14 July 2019, candidates may personally submit by mail or e – mail the competition dossier containing:

a) letter of motivation;

b) curriculum vitae (CV);

c) copy of identity card (ID);

d) copies of diplomas and certificates of graduation of professional and/or specialisation courses;

e) a declaration on his own responsibility that he does not have prohibition to hold public office or public dignity.

The copies of documents submitted by candidates will be submitted together with original documents so as to check their veracity or be authenticated by notary. If the competition dossier is submitted by e – mail, the copies of the documents are filed on the date of interview.
