Kroll-2 Report made public in Moldova

Chisinau, 4 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Kroll-2 report was made public today.
Today morning, the head of the inquiry commission for elucidating all circumstances of the embezzlement of Moldova’s banking system and investigation of the bank fraud, Alexandru Slusari, informed that a decision had been taken to make public the report today.
The report does not contain also the list of the end beneficiaries of the money. The document has 150 pages and is in English.
According to Slusari, ”the report contains certain hatchings of information about some banks from other countries. This was made at a request by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM). The process of embezzlement of the banks, with the description of the firms and persons who led or were stockholders of these firms, is described in the report,” Slusari said.
A synthesis of the Kroll-2 report was published by BNM in late December 2017. The document contains no new name of those involved in the bank fraud. The first report of the Kroll Company was made public by the former parliament speaker, Andrian Candu, back in 2015.
