Chisinau, 5 July /MOLDPRES/ - The state secretary of the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry, Boris Gilca, has tendered resignation. He made statements to this effect on a social network today.

„The honour and dignity cannot be imposed or taken away. I am grateful to my colleagues, from the ministry and the subordinated institutions, for the spirit of team, dedication and professionalism. We go on being principled, with the head up, on the street and in life. We will continue to denounce the incorrect things and  people who dominated the system. I am sure that the institutions will do their job and all things will be clearly elucidated. I wish much success to Minister Ala Nemerenco! ” Boris Gilca wrote.

The announcement on resignation came after statements with high impact on irregularities of the former governance, made by Boris Gilca several days ago.

Boris Gilca came to the health system in 2015, at a proposal by the then labour minister, Mircea Buga, who appointed him as deputy minister. Before this, Gilca had worked as chief state adviser of the prime minister, Chiril Gaburici, in the sectors of health and social development.
