Moldovan parliament speaker meets ambassador of Italy

Chisinau, 5 July /MOLDPRES/ - The new parliamentary majority, along with the  president and government of Moldova, are determined to ensure political stability and create a beneficial framework for the country’s development. Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grecianii made statements to this effect at a today’s meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Italy to Moldova Valeria Biagiotti.  

According to the parliament’s communication and public relations general department, the speaker thanked Italy for support and conveyed cordial congratulations on the election of MEP David-Maria Sassoli as European Parliament president.  

Zinaida Greceanii stressed the need to speed up the process of negotiation of the bilateral agreement on social security for a better protection of the Moldovan citizens working in Italy.  

The sides highlighted the good cooperation between the two states and spoke out for boosting the relations, including on the parliamentary dimension.
