Moldova's Superior Council of Magistracy puts forward more judges for leadership of courts

Chisinau, 9 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) today held a meeting in order to dismiss more magistrates and put forward candidates for the leadership of law courts.
Seventeen subjects were on the agenda of the meeting, of which ten regarded the contest for holding the vacant offices of judges, heads and deputy heads of courts.
Thus, under the CSM’s decision, Nicolae Clima was dismissed from the position of inspector judge of the CSM’s Judicial Inspection. Also, Alexandru Motricala was nominated winner of the contest for holding the office of deputy head of the Criuleni Court. Also today, the CSM members nominated Andrei Mironov to the position of judge of the Comrat-based Court of Appeal.
Viorel Puscas and Oxana Mironov were appointed judges of the Court of Appeal from Balti. CSM will put up for approval to the head of state the candidatures of Angela Braga and Marcel Juganari, Elena Cojocari, Ruxanda Pulbere and Ina Dudca for the position of judges of the Chisinau Court of Appeal.
