Moldovan deputy PM receives French ambassador

Chisinau, 09 July /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister, Vasilii Sova, has received on Tuesday, July 9, paying a visit the Ambassador of France in Moldova, Pascal Le Deunff, the office for reintegration policy’s information and media communication service has reported.
During the discussion, the officials have addressed more patterns on the Transnistrian issue, including the subjects to be consulted with representatives of format 3+2, which are to pay in perspectives a working visit to Moldova.
It was emphasised the importance of negotiation format 5+2 for debating and balancing all issues on negotiation agenda for the Transnistrian settlement.
In particular, there have been talked about the persistent issues in telecommunications sphere and it has been agreed that they will continue to consult with a view to finding balanced and mutually acceptable solutions.
It was mentioned the opportunity to promote projects aimed at strengthening the confidence measures, but also liability to remove obstacles to free movement and unrestrained communication between the inhabitants of both banks of the Dniester, with an upward perspective in supporting the Transnistrian settlement process.
In this context, the French diplomat informed about some current programmes in the field of culture and education, implemented with the support of the Government of France and targeting educational institutions on both banks of the Dniester.
Also, the possibility and opportunity of organising joint events (e.g.: roundtables, conferences, etc.), with involvement of professionals with extensive experience in Moldova and France, and debate of some subjects meant to bring added value in activating the Transnistrian settlement process.
