Moldovan leu continues appreciating against euro, U.S. dollar

Chisinau, 09 July /MOLDPRES/ – The national currency (MDL) continues to appreciate against the European single currency (EUR) and U.S. dollar (USD), according to the official exchange rates published by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) for Wednesday, 10 July.

Thus, the value of USD cheapens by MDL 0.03 down to an official price of MDL 17.86 for $1. The cost of EUR decreases by MDL 0.06 down to the level of MDL 20.00 for €1.

The Romanian leu (RON) depreciates with MDL 0.02 down to MDL 04.23 for L1.

As for the Russian rouble (RUB) and Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH), the BNM has established quotations similar to the ones of today. Thus, the cost of RUB still consists MDL 0.28 for ₽1, and UAH remains at value of MDL 0.69 for ₴1.
