More ambassadors of Moldova recalled from office

Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/ - More ambassadors of Moldova have been recalled from office. A decision to this effect was taken at a cabinet meeting today.
Thus, the government ruled to recall Moldova’s Ambassador to Canada Ala Beleavschi, Moldovan Ambassador to Turkey Igor Bolboceanu and Ambassador to Poland Iurie Bodrug. At the same time, the cabinet decided to recall from office the Moldovan Ambassador to the European Union Eugen Caras.
The government also proposed to recall Anatol Stratulat from the position of Moldova’s general consul in the Frankfurt on Main city, Germany, and Moldova’s consul to the Milan city, Italy, Sergiu Goncearenco.
According to Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicolae Popescu, the decision was taken given the end of the Moldovan diplomats’ mandates.
