Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) has asked the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) to present an additional list of exporters of horticultural products from Moldova, with the tariff code 0808, 0809.
In a letter written earlier this week, Rosselkhoznadzor reiterated that “the requirements filed to exporters provide for the presence of the production and logistic infrastructure needed for the delivery of the own production and excluding intermediaries.” The list demanded by the Russian officials is to be submitted till 15 July 2019.
In this context, ANSA informed that the native producers willing to export to Russia should re-evaluate and update the applications/requests submitted beginning with 2016. “All applicants must be registered in ANSA’s Agricultural Information System, Phytosanitary Certification, and afterwards included in the annual control plan,” sources from the National Food Safety Agency said.
At the same time, phytosanitary inspectors of ANSA will check in areas the compliance of the requests with the requirements made by the Russian side. “In the terms set, ANSA will send the official letter to Rosselkhoznadzor with the updated list of exporters attached,” ANSA added.
