Most important drafts approved at Moldovan cabinet meeting from 10 July 2019

Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/ - The most important drafts approved at the cabinet meeting from 10 July 2019.

*    A three-per cent indexation, starting from 1 April 2019, of the daily allowances for children with status of child who temporarily remained without parental care, are placed in one of social services and are involved in an education institution starting from the fifth form till the age of 18 years. The indexation is made depending on the annual increase of the consumer prices index for the year before and will represent 11 lei – on usual days, 103 lei – on the birthday and 73 lei – on holidays (Christmas, New Year, Easter and 1 June). The annual sum per one child will stand at 4,410 lei. The means will be transferred from the state budget to the second-level local budgets.        

*    Increase, beginning with 1 July 2019, of the one-off childbirth allowance up to 7,911 lei by the value of the set of assets tendered, i.e. by 1,608 lei. The estimative cost for the project’s implementation is 29,585 thousand lei, of which 29,265.6 thousand lei for increasing the one-off childbirth allowance, 246.2 thousand lei spending for distribution, 73.2 thousand lei for the commission tax. The calculation was carried out proceeding from the number of children, forecast for the second semester of 2019 – 18,200 children, according to the information provided by the National Social Insurances House (CNAS).      

*    Giving right to the monthly allocation worth 500 lei to the beneficiaries of merit allowances, who were awarded the Order of the Republic, citizens of Moldova, with residence in Moldova, who benefit from pensions or state social allocations on behalf of other countries. At present, 22 persons out of those 200 beneficiaries of the merit allowance are awarded with the Order of the Republic. Respectively, the implementation of the amendments made represent the distribution of about 110,000 lei for the ten months of 2019, additionally from the state budget.  

*    Approval of the list of competent authorities in the sector of cooperation regarding the cross-border infringements in the field of consumers’ protection and the framework of regulation used by them, and namely: Agency for Consumers’ Protection and Market Supervision (single liaison office in the cooperation sector as regards the cross-border infringements in the consumers’ protection field); - Civil Aviation Authority; - Audiovisual Council; ANRCETI (National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology); - National Centre for Personal Data Protection; - National Public Health Agency.        

*    Approval of the draft law on the ratification of the agreement between the governments of Moldova and Canada on the mutual promotion and protection of investments, signed in Ottawa on 12 June 2018. The concerned treaty will contribute to ensuring the protection and promoting of investments between the two states, boosting the Moldovan-Canadian trade relations in fields of mutual interest, as well as in the political, social and cultural fields.     

*    Setting up, in the Balti city, of a commemorative work of war in the memory of the heroes who died in performance of duty for the defence of Moldova’s territorial integrity and independence. The spending needed will be covered from donations and sponsorships.
