More traders sanctioned by Fiscal Service in Moldova

Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/ - Inspectors of the State Fiscal Service (SFS) have imposed sanctions worth half a million of lei for the sale of products in the online environment as a result of practicing illicit entrepreneurial activity.   

The sanctions were imposed after, in the first half of this year, fiscal inspectors had identified over 450 advertisements placed on portals and social networks on the sale of goods which are supposed to the sold from illicit entrepreneurial activity. 

In these cases, inspectors compiled 157 official reports on contravention related to the carrying out of entrepreneurial activity without registration at the competent bodies.  

Pastry items are put for sale in the online environment and SFS warned that this kind of activity was also with high risk of infringement of the legislation. In this context, the Fiscal Service informed that it would carry out controls in the sector of online trade with pastry items. The institution urged producers from this field to have acts on origin and set check-out machines at the collection of cash payments. At the same time, consumers are warned to ask for the certificate of conformity and cash voucher.
