Moldovan PM announces Ukraine removes some restrictions for local carriers

Chisinau, 12 July /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister, Maia Sandu, said that Ukraine has removed the 90 – day restriction on its territory imposed on Moldovan passengers and freight carriers. The announcement was made after the visit to Kiev by Moldovan PM.
"I am glad to announce that before we boarded the plane to Chisinau, we found out that one of issues we have raised has already been solved. It is about removing the 90 – day restriction for carriers of passengers and freight. Those who know the problem hope they will enjoy it. That means there is no longer a 90 – day restriction on territory of Ukraine. We are grateful to our partners in Ukraine, and as we promised there, we shall build a strategic partnership of two states, including to promote reforms and our European integration agenda," said Maia Sandu.
Till present, the Moldovan drivers which provide international transport services could not have accumulated over 90 days on territory of Ukraine for 180 days.
PM Maia Sandu paid a visit to Kiev, Ukraine on Thursday, 11 July. Maia Sandu met with several Ukrainian officials, including her counterpart in Kiev, Volodimir Groisman, and President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski.
