The MF also presented the priorities of her institution for upcoming period. According to source, it is vital for the Ministry of Finance to finalise the budget rectification and to adopt all commitments assumed in the relationship with the IMF.
"All authorities will work to meet the commitments that depend on disbursement of resources from foreign partners. A priority is to increase the absorption capacity of capital investment projects. We have a lot of loans and grants from external partners that we unfortunately do not execute," said Gavrilita.
Also, the MF will strive to create a predictable business environment for citizens and entrepreneurs which "must understand that taxes must be paid," said MF.
