Euro decreases below threshold of MDL 20.00

Chisinau, 12 July /MOLDPRES/ – The European single currency (EUR) decreases below threshold of MDL 20.00 at the beginning of upcoming week, according to the official exchange rates set by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).
Thus, the cost of EUR is MDL 19.98 for €1 after cheapening by MDL 0.08.
And the value of U.S. dollar (USD) cheapens on Monday, 15 July. For USD, the BNM has established an official exchange rate of MDL 17.75 for $1, by MDL 0.04 less than today.
The Romanian leu (RON) depreciates with MDL 0.01 down to the cost of MDL 04.22 for L1.
The Russian rouble (RUB) and Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) keep their quotes registered today – MDL 0.28 for ₽1 and MDL 0.68 for ₴1, respectively.
