Parliamentary Assembly of Moldova, Poland to hold new meeting

Chisinau, 12 July /MOLDPRES/ – Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grecianii and Foreign Affairs Minister of Poland Jacek Czaputowicz, on a visit to Moldova, discussed subjects on the Moldovan-Polish bilateral agenda, including on the parliamentary dimension, as well as up-to-date topics dealing with the Eastern Partnership, the parliament’s communication and public relations general department.
The speaker thanked Poland for support and reiterated the government’s determination to promote reforms for the benefit of the people, to fight corruption and back a balanced foreign policy. Zinaida Grecianii also thanked for the financial support provided to Moldova, noting new opportunities of cooperation which can be further developed.
The officials highlighted the dynamic character of the development of the inter-parliamentary cooperation, stressing willingness to organize a new meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Moldova and Poland. The co-head of the Assembly on behalf of Moldova’s parliament, Oleg Lipskii, welcomed the officials in the Polish language and thanked for the colleagues’ openness, speaking out for boosting the dialogue for the benefit of both nations.
