Moldovan parliament speaker meets extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Austria

Chisinau, 15 July /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii thanked for Austria’s constant and full support at a today’s meeting with Austrian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Christine Freilinger, the parliament’s communication and public relations general department has reported.  

The parliament speaker stressed that the coalition governance was promoting a balanced foreign policy and would fulfill the commitments assumed before the foreign partners. In the context, Zinaida Grecianii reiterated the parliamentary majority’s openness for backing the projects agreed upon with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The speaker said that the authorities would pay special attention to social policies and for this, they were determined to ensure the political, economic, fiscal stability and to attract investments to Moldova.  

The ambassador of Austria welcomed the position promoted by the parliament speaker and spoke out for the continuation of the good cooperation between the two countries, including on the parliamentary dimension.
