Chisinau, 18 July /MOLDPRES/ - Four million lei has been invested in an infrastructure project carried out in the Ceadar-Lunga town. As a result, in Ceadar-Lunga, the roadway and the pavement of a street were reconstructed, a parking for 40 places was set and the network of drainage of rain waters was restored. This will diminish the risks of flooding of the town market, placed nearby.

Also, within the project, we have managed to improve the sanitary and hygienic state of the market,” the Ceadar-Lunga mayor, Anatoli Topal, said, quoted by the website www.gagauzinfo.md.

The mayor noted that this project had allowed also creating two new jobs. Thus, according to Topal, the staff of the municipal enterprise which manages the Ceadar-Lunga market, was completed with two units – parking attendant and controller, due to start working as of 1 August.

The Support to Public Authorities in ATU Gagauzia programme was launched in 2017, with a budget of three million euros, supported by the European Union. The project has an implementation period of 24 months and provides for more activities for the autonomy’s development.
