Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ – Pavel Filip has announced that he decided to resign as head of parliamentary faction of the Democrats' party (PDM).
Filip reasoned his decision by the fact that "sometimes you need to know how to retire, reflect on the state of things so that you can then make decisions that would benefit your team."
"I still believe that PDM has good and professional persons with which we can turn the party into a genuine political construction," wrote Filip on his official social network page.
The parliamentary faction of PDM is made up of 30 MPs. Pavel Filip was elected its head in March 2019.
