Moldovan central electoral commission's secretary resigns from office

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ – Veaceslav Agrigoroae has resigned as secretary of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC). The announcement has been made at the beginning of the meeting of CEC, on Friday, 19 July, by Vladimir Sarban, which chaired the meeting.
Following this decision, the CEC is to elect a new secretary today.
The agenda of the meeting includes also issues on election of a new head and deputy head of CEC.
Earlier, head of CEC, Alina Russu, deputy head, Rodica Ciubotaru and Iurie Ciocan, resigned as members of CEC. Instead, the Parliament appointed three new members. These are Pavel Dumitru, Dorin Cimil and Maxim Lebedinschi.
